With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the third spiritual-educational institution in Armenia - Harijavank Theological Seminary will open in the forthcoming months.

The application process for 2010-2011 candidates for the Harijavank Theological Seminary is now open. To be considered for admission an applicant must be under 21 and a citizen of the Republic of Armenia or a foreign country. He must be a faithful member of the Holy Apostolic Armenian Church. He must have completed his secondary or higher education.

1. Armenian language (written exam)
2. Armenian Literature (oral exam)
3. Armenian History (oral exam)
4. Music (vocal abilities)
5. Foreign Language (English test)

Before the entrance exams an interview will be conducted on the following topics:

1. Knowledge of the Holy Bible
2. General knowledge of Armenian Church history
3. Past Church involvement
4. Personal speaking abilities.

All the applicants must submit their applications at the Office of the Secretariat of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary in person

1. Complete Application Form
2. Certificate of secondary (or higher) education
3. Letter of recommendation from the Director of the School
4. Original Document - Military Registration Card
5. Health Certificate regarding status of the applicant from your local hospital or private physician (Armenian Form 086)
6. Two 3 x 4 size photos
7. Copy of current passport
8. Resume
9. Letter of recommendation from the Diocesan Primate or local parish priest
10. Proof of Residency
11. Copy of Baptismal Certificate

Applications will be accepted from July 20 to August 21, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
