The author of the Southern gate of the Old Residence implemented project in 2007-2009 is architect Grigor Nalbandyan. The gate is the entrance for official visits. The development of the architectural composition of the gate and the choice of building materials are determined both by the architecture of the "Vaskenian" entrance and by the creation of an environment consistent with the historical image of the "Khrimyan" museum.
