The Supreme Spiritual Council is the advising body of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. The president of the Supreme Spiritual Council is His Holiness Karekin II Catholicos of all Armenians. The Vice Chairmanship is shared by the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople.
The Council is composed of high-ranking clergy and lay members, one part of which are elected by the National Ecclesiastical Assembly or appointed by the Catholicos of All Armenians.
Meetings of the Supreme Spiritual Council are held at least twice a year, and on an as needed basis.
