Armenian Apostolic Holy Church Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On August 30, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, welcomed members of the Coordinating Council of the “Mer Dzevov” Our Way volunteer movement during their pilgrimage to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

At the meeting, the movement’s coordinator, Narek Karapetyan, outlined its key goals and priorities, focused on addressing the challenges facing the Homeland.

His Holiness bestowed his blessings upon the representatives of theOur Way movement and expressed his satisfaction that they are guided by the vision of the distinguished benefactor Samvel Karapetyan, who is devoted to the development and progress of Armenia.

With regret, he also noted that Samvel Karapetyan remains unlawfully imprisoned for his devoted service in defense of the Armenian Church.

Addressing the internal and external challenges before the Homeland, His Holiness emphasized the urgent need to strengthen national unity and mobilize the potential of Armenians worldwide. In this context, he underlined the importance of cooperation with both national and spiritual institutions.

The Catholicos also expressed gratitude for the support shown to the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, as well as for theOur Way movement’s focus on strengthening national and spiritual values and reinforcing the role of the family.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness wished Mr. Samvel Karapetyan a swift return to his family, affirming that the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin will continue to make every effort to secure the release of benefactor Mr. Samvel Karapetyan, along with Archbishops Mikael and Bagrat. His Holiness offered his prayerful wishes for a mission fruitful and beneficial to the nation.
