Catholicos of All Armenians Congratulates Mr. Samvel Karapetyan on his 60th birthday

On August 18, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, sent a congratulatory letter to mark the 60th birthday of Samvel Karapetyan, a distinguished benefactor of the nation and supporter of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
In his congratulatory message, the Patriarch wrote:
“Dear Mr. Karapetyan,
From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, we send you our Patriarchal love and blessing, and warmly congratulate you on your 60th birthday.
You celebrate this honorable jubilee while unjustly imprisoned, for your courageous stance and steadfast spirit in defense of our Holy Church. Sadly, we do not have the opportunity to visit you in person and convey our best wishes directly. Yet together with our clergy and faithful people, we are with you in prayer. We do not doubt that you remain strong in spirit and unwavering in the steadfastness and principles that define you.
The All-Merciful God has abundantly blessed you, granting you many gifts and graces, and has adorned your life with significant successes and achievements. On this path, the Lord has given you the support of your beloved family, colleagues, and the thousands who have believed in your vision. Your accomplishments in various fields have been selflessly devoted to serving our nation—helping to overcome many challenges in Armenia, Artsakh, and in Armenian communities around the world, and realizing large-scale programs for the development of Armenian life.
Through your service to the nation and homeland, you have earned the love and respect of our people, as well as the honorable recognition as a distinguished benefactor of the nation. You have also dedicated your righteous service to the glory of our Holy Armenian Apostolic Church and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Your devotion to the Church and to Etchmiadzin is exceptional, already inscribed in the bright pages of modern Armenian history.
Before the Holy Altar of the Descent of the Only-Begotten, we pray to the Heavenly Lord for your swift return to your family. May Almighty God grant you health and a long life filled with blessings, courage, and strength in trials, and give power and patience to your beloved Karapetyan family. May the Most High God keep our homeland in peace and safety, and bestow upon our faithful people a dignified and prosperous life.”
