Catholicos of All Armenians Receives Pilgrims of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America

On July 16, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin the young participants of the 'Service Armenia' program of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America, led by the Honorable Father Hakob Gevorgyan, pastor of the Holy Trinity Church of Philadelphia.
Fr. Hakob informed the Catholicos of All Armenians that, within the framework of the program, the young Armenian participants have engaged in community volunteer projects in Armenia and visited various sacred sites, thereby strengthening their knowledge and love of the homeland.
The Catholicos of All Armenians, bestowing his paternal blessing upon the youth, commended their participation in volunteer initiatives. His Holiness also expressed his satisfaction that these young pilgrims remain firmly connected to the Church, understanding that by remaining faithful to their national values, they can preserve their identity intact.
In his address, His Holiness expressed confidence that, having drawn spiritual strength and inspiration from their ancestral land, the young people will return to their communities and, through their devoted service, bring benefit to both the Homeland and the Mother Church.
