Catholicos of All Armenians Welcomes Participants of AGBU's 'Discover Armenia' Program

On April 15, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, welcomed at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin the young Armenian participants of the ‘Discover Armenia’ program of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).
Extending his blessing and paternal message to the youth, the Supreme Patriarch warmly commended the initiatives undertaken by the AGBU, noting that such programmes offer young Armenians from the Diaspora a meaningful opportunity to engage with the reality of their homeland, to explore the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Armenian people, and to deepen their sense of identity — thereby nurturing a strong national spirit and awareness.
In conclusion, His Holiness encouraged the young participants to lead lives grounded in prayer, to remain closely connected to the Mother Church, and to take an active role in national life — contributing not only to the well-being of their local communities abroad but also to the ongoing progress of the fatherland.
