Catholicos of All Armenians Welcomes Delegation of Armenian Schools from France to Holy Etchmiadzin

On April 23, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received students from Hamaskaïne Armenian School of Marseille (École Hamaskaïne Marseille), the Arabian–Saint Mesrop School of Paris (L’Ecole Arabian – Saint Mesrop), and the French-Armenian College Tebrotzassère (École Tebrotzassère) at the “Garegin I” Educational Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The students were accompanied by Armenian philanthropist Mr. Sarkis Petoyan.
His Holiness expressed sincere appreciation for the established tradition, which has taken shape over the years - an initiative through which, during the days of remembrance of the Armenian Genocide, students from Armenian schools in France make annual pilgrimages to Armenia and the Mother See.
His Holiness emphasized the importance of these pilgrimages - they help the younger generation deepen their connection with their ancestral land, discover its spiritual and cultural heritage, deepen their faith, and strengthen national identity.
During the meeting, the Catholicos encouraged the students to commit themselves to their studies and apply their knowledge to advance the Armenian people and their homeland, as worthy sons and daughters of their nation.
His Holiness also extended his appreciation to Mr. Petoyan, the principals, faculty, and boards of trustees of the schools, for organizing these valuable visits to Armenia and the Mother See.
At the end of the gathering, the Catholicos of All Armenians bestowed his blessing upon the students by reciting the 'Prayer of Protection'.
