Catholicos of All Armenians Departs for Switzerland

On May 26, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, departed for Bern, Switzerland, to participate in the international conference titled ‘Religious Freedom: Preserving Armenian Spiritual, Cultural, and Historical Heritage in Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh,” organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Protestant Church in Switzerland.
His Holiness will deliver a message to the participants of the conference.
The Catholicos is accompanied by a delegation that includes His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the United Kingdom and Ireland; His Grace Bishop Partev Barseghyan, Primate of the Diocese of Gegharkunik; and Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Garegin Hambardzumyan, Director of the Ecumenical Relations Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
