Fr. Tigran Badiryan Defrocked 25.08.2026

On August 21, by the Patriarchal decree of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, and pursuant to his own petition, Honorable Fr. Tigran Badiryan was defrocked.

The former clergyman will henceforth be numbered among the laity under his baptismal name, Levon Badiryan.
