Republican Prayer Service and Visit to the Sardarapat Memorial Complex on the Occasion of Republic Day

On May 28, on the occasion of Republic Day, a Republican Prayer Service was offered at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
The clergy and faithful gathered in prayer to Almighty God for the steadfastness of the Republic of Armenia, as well as for a peaceful and secure life.
On the same day, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, accompanied by the monastic clergy of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, visited the Sardarapat Memorial Complex.
After laying a wreath at the monument, the clergy, led by the Armenian Patriarch, offered prayers to the Lord for the repose of the souls of the valiant sons of the Armenian people who fell in the heroic May battles.
