Evening Service and Solemn Procession Mark the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

On September 13, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, an Evening Service and the solemn procession of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross were held at the Mother Cathedral of the Descent of the Only-Begotten at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. On this occasion, the relic of the Holy Cross of the Lord was brought out in its reliquary for the faithful to venerate and receive consolation.
The Rite of Antasdan, the blessing of the four directions, was also performed in the Mother Cathedral's courtyard.
