07.12.2025
On December 7, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received the newly ordained clergy who, on October 26 of this year, were ordained and anointed to the priesthood at the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin and who have completed the forty days of preparation at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The delegation was led by the Sacristan of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Reverend Father Anania Vardapet Tsaturyan.
The Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his congratulations to the priest fathers on the occasion of their calling to pastoral ministry, imparting to them his paternal exhortation and blessing.
Reflecting on the priestly calling and the divinely entrusted mission, His Holiness exhorted the newly ordained to remain steadfast in their vows, to devote every effort in their places of service to strengthening faith, hope, and love in the souls of the faithful, and, in a spirit of unity and concord, to make a meaningful contribution to the radiance of the Apostolic Mother Church and to the well-being and progress of the Homeland.
The Supreme Pastor of the Armenians called upon the priests, in the face of the present challenges and difficulties confronting the Church, to remain unwavering, to overcome them with prudence and courage, and to offer their ministry with selfless dedication in their future communities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness blessed the priests with the prayer “Guardian” and presented them with hand crosses and Holy Communion ciboria.
