Armenian Apostolic Holy Church Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

In the 1960s, Khoren Palian and Lusine Zakaryan were forerunners in preserving and promoting Armenian sacred music. Khoren Palian authored numerous scholarly articles and studies in musicology, philology, and historiography. He wrote the educational manual Chronology of the Armenian Church and co-authored several books and volumes dedicated to Classical Armenian and liturgical hymns. Additionally, he served as a professor at the Gevorgian Theological Seminary and taught in the Faculties of Philology and Theology at Yerevan State University.
