Mother See Highlights Plight of Forcibly Displaced Armenians and POWs from Artsakh at Washington Summit

In Washington, Father Garegin Hambardzumyan participated in the 5th International Religious Freedom Summit and the National Prayer Breakfast, where he addressed critical issues facing forcibly displaced Armenians from Artsakh. He highlighted the urgent need to protect the region's cultural and religious heritage and called for the immediate release of Armenian prisoners of war held in Baku.

Father Garegin urged U.S. lawmakers to take decisive action on these matters. He also presented detailed reports, prepared with the Armenian Bar Association of America, documenting ongoing human rights violations and the destruction of cultural heritage in Azerbaijan.
