Festive Divine Liturgy to Be Held in Armenian Apostolic Churches on February 14
11.02.2025
On the morning of February 14th, forty days after the Nativity of Christ, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. This holiday commemorates the presentation of the infant Jesus at the Temple, where Joseph and Mary brought Him to dedicate Him to God.
A pre-festive service will be held on the evening of February 13th. According to folk tradition, a bonfire is lit from the night of February 13th to 14th. The Feast of the Presentation invites everyone to meet the Lord, and the offering of the infant in the church symbolizes raising Him with a spiritual upbringing.
