Supreme Spiritual Council Calls on Ruben Vardanyan to End Hunger Strike
The Supreme Spiritual Council convened under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, has condemned the sham trials orchestrated in Azerbaijan against the political leadership of Artsakh, military personnel, and civilians, as well as the inhumane treatment of Armenian captives and hostages. The Council denounced these actions as yet another manifestation of Azerbaijan’s persistent hostility and aggression against the Armenian people and the Republic of Armenia. It has called upon the Armenian authorities to take decisive and visible measures in response, leveraging all available resources and the full potential of both Armenian and international bodies.
