Cake Made with Oil, Honey, Walnuts, and Raisins on Median Day of Great Lent

The 24th day of Great Lent is called Midjink (Median Day of Great Lent), marking the halfway point of the fast. According to tradition, unleavened bread is prepared with sunflower oil and a symbolic item is hidden inside. A cake called Midjink Gata is also made on this day with oil, honey, walnuts, and raisins.
