Catholicos of All Armenians Receives Pilgrims from Massachusetts

On July 10, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received pilgrims from Worcester, Massachusetts. They were accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Sahag Yemishian, a member of the Brotherhood of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia.
Presenting the pilgrims to His Holiness, Fr. Sahag reflected on the history of Worcester, stressing that the Armenian community has long history there.
The Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his blessings to the pilgrims and welcomed their commitment to visit the Homeland. His Holiness stressed the importance of the connection between the Homeland and the Mother See. His Holiness stated that such visits have great importance for Armenians living in the Homeland, who experience great joy seeing the devotion of their compatriots in the Diaspora.
During the meeting, they reflected on the serious investment by the Diaspora, in building the Armenia nation. His Holiness extended his appreciation to the pilgrims for their useful service in the life of the Armenians.
They also reflected on the challenges facing the Armenian Church and the Armenian people and the efforts to overcome them.
