Catholicos of All Armenians Receives the Professors and Students of the RA Public Administration Academy

On May 23, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the administration, teachers and students of the Republic of Armenia Public Administration Academy; led by Rector Arsen Lokyan.
Rector Lokyan, presented the educational institution's mission and educational programs to His Holiness. He expressed gratitude to the Catholicos on the occasion of the cooperation between the structures of the Armenian Church and the Academy, and the constant assistance provided by the Mother See for various events. The rector stressed the need for the strengthening and development of relations between higher educational institutions and the church.
The Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his blessings to the participants, noting the Academy's mission. His Holiness expressed satisfaction for the established relations and cooperation between the Academy and the Mother See Institutions, which enables youth to be engaged in the spiritual values and history of the Armenian Church. On this occasion, His Holiness stressed that the country's future leaders, based on the national and spiritual values, must be able to firmly establish the foundations of the state structure.
During the meeting, His Holiness answered questions related to the promotional activities of the Church, the programs implemented by the Mother See in the educational and social fields, as well as on the preparation of clergy and church-building.
The Catholicos expressed his interest in the Academy training programs and further job opportunities provided to graduates.
The meeting was attended by His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan, Director of the External Relations and Protocol Department; and Dn. Gegham Avetisyan, spiritual advisor of HEI.
