Catholicos of All Armenians Welcomes Pilgrims from the Diocese of Brazil
29.09.2025
On September 29, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, welcomed pilgrims from the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Brazil to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The pilgrims were accompanied by His Grace Bishop Narek Berberian, Primate of the Diocese of Brazil.
His Holiness offered his blessing and message to the pilgrims, highlighting the importance of organizing such pilgrimages from Armenian dioceses worldwide to the Homeland and the Mother See, as they play a vital role in maintaining unity and preserving national identity.
He noted that, with love and steadfast faith in the Homeland, the Armenian people have endured many trials throughout history—including the Armenian Genocide—while rebuilding their national and spiritual life in different countries and contributing significantly to the work of nation-building.
His Holiness encouraged the Brazilian-Armenian pilgrims to strengthen their community and serve the Armenian nation, the Homeland, and the Church with dedication.
