Armenian Apostolic Holy Church Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On May 3, on the Feast of the Discovery of the Holy Cross of the Lord, with the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a priestly ordination and consecration will take place at the Cathedral of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The ceremony will be officiated by His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisian, Director of the Department of External Relations and Protocol of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

Seven deacons serving in various ecclesiastical structures of the Mother See will be ordained to the priesthood.

The Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:30 a.m.

On the eve of the feast, at 5:30 p.m., the rite of presenting the candidates for ordination will be performed before the Holy Altar of the Cathedral.
