Catholicos of All Armenians Receives President of the Esra International Foundation

On June 24, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Dr. Morteza Javadi Amoli, President of the Esra International Foundation and Head of the Imam Hasan Askari Seminary and the affiliated higher educational institution, accompanied by H.E. Khalil Shirgholami, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, reference was made to the friendly relations between the Armenian and Iranian peoples, which are rooted in mutual respect and a rich historical heritage.
The discussion underscored the important role of religious communities in fostering greater mutual understanding and cooperation among peoples, as well as the need to strengthen interreligious dialogue and cultural ties further.
It was noted that amid contemporary challenges, strengthening spiritual and moral values is essential to building lasting peace and a secure future for humanity.
