Requiem Service Held for the Victims of the Sumgait Massacre

On February 27, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a requiem service was offered at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin following the Hour of Rest, in memory of the victims of the 1988 Sumgait pogroms organized by the authorities of Azerbaijan.
The clergy and the faithful present raised prayers to the Almighty for peace and for the repose of the souls of the innocent Armenians who fell victim to the massacre.
