Catholicos of All Armenians Receives Participants of the Pan-Armenian Conference of ARF Hay Dat Committees and Offices

On September 28, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin the participants of the Pan-Armenian Conference of the “Hay Dat” Committees and Offices of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun).
Hagop Der Khatchadourian, Chairman of the Armenian National Committee Central Council of “Hay Dat,” presented the conference's work to His Holiness, highlighting the priorities of the Armenian Cause structures and their upcoming programs.
His Holiness then offered his blessing and appreciation to those present, underscoring the importance of sustained efforts to defend Armenian interests on international platforms and bring pan-Armenian issues to the international community's attention.
During the meeting, the challenges facing Armenia and regional developments were discussed, along with issues related to the protection of the rights of the forcibly displaced Armenians of Artsakh, the release of Armenian captives held in Azerbaijan, and the preservation of Artsakh’s Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage.
In this regard, participants emphasized the importance of consolidating the capacities of national institutions to address pan-Armenian issues and strengthen the Homeland.
The participants also addressed issues causing concern in the life of the Church and the nation, as well as the reprehensible campaign launched by the authorities against the Armenian Church and the obstacles being created by them.
The Armenian Church’s salvific and nation-preserving mission was emphasized as strengthening the people's spiritual life, preserving national identity, and reinforcing Armenian statehood.
