Catholicos of All Armenians Receives Young Diaspora Armenians Participating in Armenian Studies Courses

On August 12, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received 32 young people who had arrived from various Dioceses of the Armenian Church in the Diaspora to participate in Armenian Studies and Religious Studies courses launched at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
His Holiness expressed his joy at the gathering of the young Armenians who had come to the homeland at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and their participation in the educational programs, which greatly contribute to strengthening the national and spiritual identity of young Armenians in the Diaspora, as well as further strengthening their ties with the Church and the homeland.
The Catholicos of All Armenians then expressed his appreciation to the members of the organizing committee of the Clergy and Youth Training Program of the “Karekin I” Educational Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, as well as to the Diocesan Primates, for implementing this Armenian Studies program.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Supreme Patriarch answered questions from those present concerning issues related to national and spiritual life and the activities of the Armenian Church.
