Evening Prayer Service and the Solemn Procession of the Cross

On September 14, on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, under the leadership of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, an Evening Prayer and a solemn procession tоок place at the Mother Cathedral. On this occasion, for the veneration and consolation of the faithful, the relic of the Lord’s Holy Cross was brought out from the reliquary.
In the courtyard of the Mother Cathedral, the service of blessing the four corners of the world 'Andastan' was also performed, and the basil adorning the cross was blessed.
