By patriarchal decree of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, new clerical appointments have been announced.
His Grace Bishop Narek Avagyan, Primate of the Diocese of Artik, has been temporarily appointed concurrently as Spiritual Supervisor of the Diocese of Shirak, with the authority of a diocesan primate.
The Very Reverend Proto-Archimandrite Zakaria Baghumyan has been appointed Director of the Preaching Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and has been released from his duties as Director of the Center for Christian Formation and Education.
