His Holiness Karekein II Sends Condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin

On December 26, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a letter of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin; on the occasion of the Adler-Latakia plane crash.
The Catholicos of All Armenians expressed deep condolences to the Russian President, the Russian people and the families of the victims of the crash.
"We pray for the Lord and the Holy Spirit to comfort the families of the Russian faithful. And may God have mercy upon the souls of the dead, so they may rest in peace in the heavenly heights. May God protect the world from such disasters”, the letter stated in part.
