New Clergy Appointments in the Armenian Church

New Clergy Appointments in the Armenian Church 08.12.2016

With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, new appointments of clergy have been made.

Rev. Fr. Andranik Gevorkian, a Member of the Brotherhood of the Mother See, has completed his duties in the Kotayk Diocese, and is appointed to serve as a spiritual servant in the “Yerkrapah” Volunteer Unit, under the authority of the Spiritual Primate of the Army.

Rev. Fr. Avetik Martirosyan, has completed his spiritual service in the Armenian Diocese of Iraq, and will serve in the Syunik Diocese.

Appointments were also made for priests who were ordained on Ocotber 23 and and who have completed their 40-day period of seclusion:

Rev. Fr. Nerses Asryan, was called to serve in the Diocese of Artsakh; Rev. Fr. Mashtots Hmayakyan will serve in the Diocese of Kotayk; Rev. Fr. Hovsep Sargsyan and Rev. Fr. Egishe Nourijanyan will serve in the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese.
Rev. Fr. Mambre Voskanyan and Rev. Fr. Eznik Mardiryan will serve in the Diocese of Gougark; Rev. Fr. Davit Margaryan will serve in the Armenian Diocese of France; Rev. Fr. Narek Antonyan will serve in the Diocese of Shirak.
Rev. Fr. Sahak Sahakyan will serve in the Gevorkian Theological Seminary of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
