His Holiness Karekin II Meets with Representatives of Argentina’s Legislative Body

On November 4, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received representatives of the Argentine Republic's legislative body at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
During the meeting, Senator Juan Carlos Romero informed His Holiness that the delegation had visited Armenia to strengthen Armenian-Argentine relations and to become acquainted with Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage, history, and the activities of the Armenian Church.
His Holiness blessed those present and emphasized the important role of Holy Etchmiadzin in the life of the Armenian people, highlighting its contribution to the preservation of spiritual and cultural heritage, the strengthening of national identity, and the safeguarding of the nation.
Speaking about the close relations between the two countries, the Catholicos of All Armenians expressed satisfaction that in difficult times, especially during the Artsakh war, Argentina consistently supported the Armenian people. His Holiness also expressed appreciation for the Argentine authorities' caring attitude toward the Armenian community, as well as for the significant contribution of Armenians in Argentina to the country’s development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness wished the delegation success in their work for the benefit of the peoples of Armenia and Argentina.
