Ceremony of Conferring the Ranks of Reader, Orarion-bearer, and Subdeacon

On December 24, with the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, before the Holy Altar of the Descent of the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, through the laying on of hands of His Grace Bishop Vahan Hovhannessian, Director of the “Garegin I” Educational Center, the ceremony of conferring the ranks of Reader, Orarion-bearer, and Subdeacon was held.
Ten students of the second year of the Gevorgian Theological Seminary were granted the rank of Reader, seven students of the fourth year were granted the rank of Orarion-bearer, while nine students of the fifth year and three students of the graduating class of the Priestly Preparation Program were granted the rank of Subdeacon.
