Republican Prayer Service and “Yerablur” Military Pantheon Visit for Armenian Army Day

On January 28, on the occasion of Armenian Army Day, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a Republican Prayer Service was held at the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin.
During the service, the clergy and the faithful in attendance prayed to the Almighty, asking the Lord to grant our soldiers and officers a peaceful and safe service, to steadfastly protect our homeland, and to preserve all our people under His providential care.
Following the service, the Catholicos of All Armenians, accompanied by the clergy, visited the “Yerablur” military pantheon to pay tribute to the brave sons who gave their lives defending the Fatherland and to offer prayers for the repose of their souls. His Holiness and the clergy also individually visited the graves of the nation’s heroic children, offering their reverence and prayers.
