Winners of the 2016 Mathematics and Language Competition Visited Mother See 31.08.2016

On August 31 the winners of the 2016 competitions - Kangaroo: Mathematics for All, and Bee: Armenian for All, visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The competitions for school aged children from the regions and Artsakh were organized the AYB Educational Foundation.

On behalf of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan, Director of the External Relations and Protocol Department of Mother See; welcomed and congratulated the competition winners.

Archbishop Nathan praised the students' desire to store knowledge and to put their learning into practice. “For centuries, the most important guarantee of our country's progress has been and is knowledge. Both the exact sciences and our native language are equally important in our country. Through the annualy held Kangaroo and Bee competitions, children's interest is motivated in mathematics, logic and language”, noted His Eminence.

Archbishop Nathan urged the students to continue to be armed with knowledge, through which they can greatly contribute to the strengthening and development of our nation and state.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan congratulated the students on the occasion of the upcoming September 1, and expressed his wish that the Day of Knowledge and the new Academic year be a feast for everyone and a new beginning of great successes and joy of victories.
