Established on October 22, 2014, by the directive of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
The Department of External Relations and Protocol fosters and maintains relations with diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia, international organizations, public institutions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and other relevant state bodies.
The Department also organizes meetings of His Holiness with foreign and Armenian high-ranking officials, as well as representatives of state institutions and organizations.
