Through the efforts of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; and funds of the Turpanjian family, in 2011, in Harichavank, a spiritual seminary attached to the Gevorgyan Theological Seminary was reopened, which had 8 students.
In April 2013, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia granted a license to the Harichivank College to carry out high school educational programs.
The College receives all educational programs and curricula from the Ministry of Education and Science, the final exams are also organized in accordance with the educational programs of the high school in cooperation with the Ministry. All the educational programs that are implemented in the high schools of the republic are implemented in the College, but in addition to these subjects, other subjects of a spiritual nature are also taught here.
On June 19, 2017, with the noble benevolence of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Patricia Turpanjian (Los Angeles, USA), under the chairmanship of the Catholicos of All Armenians, the opening ceremony of the completely renovated building of the Turpanjian Theological College of Harich monastery took place.
