Armenian Apostolic Holy Church Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On September 15, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, departed for the Vatican, where he is to be received in audience by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.

Accompanying His Holiness are: His Grace Bishop Daniel Fntgyan, Head of the Postgraduate Department of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary; the Reverend Archimandrite Garegin Hambardzumyan, Director of the Department for Inter-Church Relations of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin; the Reverend Hieromonk Yesayi Grigoryan, Staff-Bearer of the Catholicos; and the Reverend Father Vahram Melikyan, Director of the Office of the Supreme Patriarch. 

In the Vatican, the delegation of His Holiness will be joined by His Eminence Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Pontifical Legate for Western Europe and Representative of the Catholicos of All Armenians to the Holy See, as well as His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
