Catholicos of All Armenians Receives the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology

His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Minister Vahan Martirosyan, of the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology; on 04 October in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The Catholicos of All Armenians congratulated Minister Martirosyan on his appointment to the important post, and expressed confidence in his ability to accomplish many achievements during his term of service for the benefit of the homeland.
Minister Martirosyan expressed his gratitude for the kind words, and presented his visions and future plans to His Holiness.
During the meeting, they discussed particulars of the transport, communications and information technology sectors, and measures being aimed at overcoming the existing challenges. In particular, they talked about the need for further development of the IT sector as of great importance for the future of the country.
The meeting was attended by His Grace Bishop Moushegh Babayan, Director of Operations of the Mother See.
