From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, We extend Our Patriarchal blessing to Our people in the Homeland and throughout the Diaspora and convey Our congratulations on the occasion of Independence Day.

Today, we celebrate the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Armenian statehood. Throughout these years, our Homeland has endured many trials; yet our people have never succumbed to despair or lost hope. Even at the cost of great sacrifice, they have continued the sacred calling of building the Homeland and dedicated their strength and potential to the cause of national revival.

Today, the Day of Independence calls us to reflect anew upon the path we have traversed and the course of our lives.

In the present challenging circumstances, more than ever, it is essential that we preserve our unity and remain steadfast around our Homeland, so that we may withstand both internal and external threats.

Strengthened by the profound significance of the Day of Independence, let us, with wholehearted devotion, continue to build up and strengthen our Homeland, and with utmost diligence and responsibility safeguard our people's right to a free and secure life upon this sacred land.

Let us firmly preserve the hope, faith, and love bequeathed by Christ, remain faithful to our national and spiritual values, and together build a just, law-abiding, and harmonious society for the sake of our secure and bright future.

We offer our prayers to God that He may keep our Homeland in peace, guide our people with the wisdom of His Holy Spirit, and grant them well-being and prosperity. Amen.
