Catholicos of All Armenians Receives Artsakh War Participant Artashes Amiryan After Treatment in India 25.03.2026

On March 25, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Artashes Amiryan, who became disabled during the First Artsakh War and, with the support of His Holiness, underwent the necessary medical treatment and prosthetic care in India.

During the meeting, Artashes Amiryan expressed his gratitude to the Catholicos of All Armenians for the support shown, informing him of the successful course of his treatment and the attentive care he received during his stay in India.

His Holiness then bestowed his blessing upon Artashes Amiryan, noting with satisfaction that the treatment would improve his quality of life. In his remarks, the Supreme Patriarch emphasized that the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin will continue to provide the necessary support and care to the sons of the Armenian nation who sacrificed their health in the struggle for the homeland, as well as to their families.
