Supreme Spiritual Council Meeting Commences at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On March 10, a meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council commenced at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, presided over by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
Following the Lord’s Prayer, the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his blessing and good wishes to the clerical and lay members of the Supreme Spiritual Council, invoking the guidance of the Holy Spirit for the meeting’s successful and fruitful conduct.
The agenda of the Supreme Spiritual Council includes issues related to convening the Ecclesiastical Representative Assembly, as well as organizational preparations for it, and matters concerning the Church’s pastoral, educational, canonical, administrative, disciplinary, and social mission. Current issues affecting the life of the Church will also be discussed.
According to established procedure, the 2025 activity report of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin will be presented to the Supreme Spiritual Council. Reports on spiritual-administrative activities, the financial report, and the annual report of the auditing committee will also be heard.
