Armenian Apostolic Holy Church Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

By the Patriarchal directive of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, new appointments have been instituted among the monastic clergy of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

Reverend Father Archimandrite Ruben Zargharyan has been appointed Director of the Department of Ecclesiastical Conceptual Affairs of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, effective May 15, 2025. He has been relieved of his duties as Spiritual Supervisor of the Penitentiary Institutions.

Reverend Father Archimandrite Isahak Poghosyan has been appointed Spiritual Supervisor of the Penitentiary Institutions, effective May 15 of this year. He has been relieved of his responsibilities as Abbot of the Holy Khor Virap Monastery.
