Reliquary of Saint Aristakes the Patriarch Presented at Holy Etchmiadzin

On September 6th, at the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, under the auspices of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a solemn Sunday Eve Service (Kiraknameti Khachverats) was celebrated.
In commemoration of the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea, the sacred reliquary containing the hand of Saint Aristakes the Patriarch, who represented the Armenian Church at the Council, was solemnly presented.
The service was attended by members of the Mother See’s monastic congregation, hierarchs and representatives of Sister Churches, delegates of interchurch bodies, and the faithful.
